Become an #rp20 Volunteer!

UPDATE: The shifts won't be activeted on March 17th due to the postponement. More information will follow. We apologize for the inconvenience.

re:publica just wouldn't be the same without its many volunteers. Every year, they make sure our event runs smoothly and retains its unique atmosphere. As for the upcoming #rp20 on 6 – 8 May 2020, we’re currently looking for enthusiastic supporters to help out between 3 and 10 May 2020.

We’re looking for helpers in the following areas: assembly and dismantling, accreditation, admission, cloakroom management, info point, press support, stage management, technology and network. We’ll provide more detailed information on requirements and tasks for individual areas in the later registration process.

An exclusive glimpse behind the scenes

Of course, our volunteers won’t be left empty handed! In addition to an exclusive glimpse behind the scenes of the event, we’ll supply food on the day of support, a T-shirt and a ticket for re:publica valid on all three days.

How to join #rp20 as a volunteer

On 1 March 2020 registration opens on our volunteers page.

From 17 March 2020, 12 PM the shifts will be activated in your account. As usual it’s first come, first serve!

Please note: If you have already created an account (e.g.last year) all you need to do is log in and check your personal information.

Our volunteer briefing will take place on 4 May 2020 at 6 PM on site at re:publica. Here you’ll receive your T-shirt and your #rp20 wristband. Additionally, our contact persons for the different areas will introduce themselves, and you’ll have the opportunity to meet our four founders of re:publica. The volunteers briefing is not compulsory, but we recommend all helpers to take part, especially those who will be volunteering for the first time.
