Niti is currently a fulltime doctoral student at the Aalto University School of Engineering, Mechanical Engineering department. (Otaniemi, Espoo, Finland). Her dissertation research is on adapting methodology for product development and user research to improve 'fit for purpose' when entering novel and challenging operating environments, such as for mobile digital services designed for the rural and informal economy in sub Saharan Africa.
